- Rates: All rates quoted on our website and other channels are in Mozambican Meticais (MZN) unless otherwise stated and are subject to availability. Prices may vary depending on the date and season.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation by Guest:
Guests wishing to cancel their reservation must do so according to the cancellation policy provided at the time of booking. Cancellations made within the specified time frame may result in a full or partial refund. Cancellations outside of this period may incur cancellation fees. - Cancellation by Hotel: In the unlikely event that Hotel Mirava needs to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify the guest immediately and offer an alternative accommodation or full refund.
3. Payment Terms
- Payment Methods:
We accept a variety of payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. Payment for services should be made in full at the time of booking or upon arrival, as specified in your booking confirmation. - Prepayment:
Certain promotions or booking conditions may require prepayment or deposits. Specific terms will be stated at the time of booking.
4. Check-In and Check-Out
- Identification:
All guests must provide valid identification upon check-in. International guests must provide their passport and visa, if applicable.
5. Guest Responsibilities
- Damages:
Guests are responsible for any damages to the hotel property, whether accidental or intentional, and will be charged accordingly for repairs or replacements. - Behavior:
Guests must behave in a manner that does not disturb or inconvenience other guests. The hotel reserves the right to refuse service or remove any guest engaging in disruptive or inappropriate behavior.

7. Liability
- Hotel Liability:
While we strive to provide a safe and comfortable stay, Hotel Mirava is not responsible for personal injury, loss, or theft of property during your stay, unless such incidents are caused by our negligence. - Force Majeure:
Hotel Mirava will not be held liable for failure to fulfill any obligations under these Terms due to unforeseen events or circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, or government regulations.
8. Use of Hotel Facilities
- Amenities:
Guests are welcome to use hotel facilities such as the fitness center, spa, and dining areas in accordance with the hotel’s rules and regulations. Unauthorized use or abuse of any facilities may result in additional charges or removal from the premises. - Smoking:
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas of the hotel. Designated smoking areas are available for guests who wish to smoke.
9. Event Spaces and Services
- Event Booking: Any events booked at Hotel Mirava are subject to the specific terms outlined in the event agreement. A separate contract may be required for large events, conferences, or special occasions.
- Cancellations: Event cancellations must be made within the designated notice period. Failure to cancel within the allowed time frame may result in forfeiture of any deposits or prepayments.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
- Governing Law:
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mozambique. - Dispute Resolution:
Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms should be addressed amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute may be resolved in the appropriate court in Maputo, Mozambique.
11. Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time.
Any changes will be posted on our website, and the updated terms will take effect immediately upon posting.
